In lands afar, beneath a different sky,
An Aruban abroad heart beats with a gentle sigh.
On March 18th, our flag raised with pride, “Aruba Dushi Tera“
sung worldwide.
In a distant cities, we raise our flag in the cold,
We share warm stories of sunsets dipped in gold.
We greet with “Bon Dia“, smiles shinning bright,
Staying true to our ways, spreading warmth and light.
We are few, scattered far and wide.
Yet in each of us, Aruba resides.
At any moment, just look around, one in a million, yet deeply
bound.
With the warmth of our culture wherever we roam,
On days like today, how we long for home.
From abroad, our voices fade, it’s true.
But mi bida baranca, we stand with you.
We work, we care, we give you our all,
Even from afar, we answer the call.
No vote to cast, no say anyways
Yet, Aruba lives on in each of us everyday.
We carry you proudly, wherever we go,
Your sunshine within us, your love we show.
No matter the distance, our hearts will remain,
Protecting Aruba, our joy, our name.
We cherish, we honor, we proudly defend,
Our island spirit, a love with no end.
For though we may wander, out duty stays clear,
To protect what is ours, for all who hold it dear.
Wishing all Aruban’s no matter where they are, a
Felis Dia Di Himno Y Bandera!
